Left Bank Mortgage Brokers has been helping its clients organise finance since 2004 and is based on the Northern Beaches of Sydney.
Left Bank Mortgage Brokers aims to make arranging finance a simple task for its clients. With access to a wide range of lenders and state of the art comparison software, we can find a product that suits your needs and budget. Our services are generally paid for by the lender with no additional costs to you.

We love our Northern Beaches location. We have lovely views from the office. We can walk to the post office for exercise and are down the road from a large gym. The beach and restaurants of Dee Why are only 10 minutes away. We are located just off Warringah Road, so it is easy to get to us if you're not from 'the beaches'.
Janne Ashton started Left Bank in 2004. Byron Pritchard has been a part of the business since its inception. Rebecca Pritchard has recently made a career change from the medical industry to mortgage broking.
Left Bank is Licensed by BLSSA.
WHAT WE DO
Gather
The first step of our clients journey is to gather information about their goals and needs to determine what they want from a loan. Following this we gather financial information to assess how much you can borrow and which lenders may be suitable to your needs.
Assess
Once we have a list of suitable lenders based on your needs and goals, we will review the shortlist and make detailed comparisons of each of the lenders. We will then provide a recommendation as to which lender we believe to be most appropriate for you.
Apply
The application process can be difficult. Different lenders have different requirements and they can change regularly. Having someone to manage this process for you that knows what is required can really help. Not only does it speed up the application process, it also ensures you know what is happening each step of the way
Review
Over time your circumstances change and your existing finance arrangements may not be suitable. Over time different lenders will update their offers and perhaps offer significant savings compared with your existing arrangement. It is important that your loan is regularly reviewed to ensure you are in the most suitable product
Financial Planning
Through our sister company, Plan Protect Pty Ltd, We can offer Financial Planning Advice. Plan Protect can assist you with all your financial planning, personal insurance, superannuation and investment needs.

I worked at Left Bank at its inception in 2004 through to 2017. I returned in 2019 after working in my own business as well as in a coaching role at one of the Big 4 Banks. I bring 2 masters degrees as well as 17 years experience to assist my clients with their finance needs.
With a background in financial planning it is it is important to me that I utilise the knowledge I have gained through this to ensure that loans are structured correctly for my clients.
I am a full member of the Mortgage Finance Association of Australia (MFAA), a Fellow member of the Financial Services Institute of Australia (FINSIA) and a member of the Australian Financial Complaints Authority (AFCA).
Education has always been a priority for me with a Masters of Applied Finance, a Masters of Business Administration, a Diploma of Financial Services (Financial Planning) and a Diploma of Finance and Mortgage Broking Management.
I spend my time out of work with my wife Bec, and my two daughters Lily and Anastasia.

I founded this business in 2004 just after I commenced my financial planning company so I could provide additional service to my clients.
My home is on the beautiful Northern Beaches of Sydney. I also enjoy frequent trips to Byron Bay, the Hunter Valley and France as well as other overseas destinations.
I have two sons, Byron and Lee. Byron and wife Bec have two beautiful daughters, Lily and Anastasia. Lee and wife Katie have a gorgeous daughter, Zara and a beautiful baby boy Reggie. I am lucky as they all live locally and I can enjoy their company on a regular basis.
I believe that education is extremely important when handling the life savings of others and have kept myself actively educated throughout my career. Starting with a degree in Economics: Bachelor of Arts (Econ), I have also completed four diplomas: Diploma in Education, Diploma in Financial Advice, Diploma of Management and Diploma of Finance and Mortgage Broking Management.
Rebecca
Client Service & Admin
After a 13 year career as an occupational therapist I decided I wanted a career that would bring me closer to home and able to spend more time with family. I still wanted to help people, and found that I was often discussing property and mortgages with my colleagues. When an opportunity came up to join Left Bank I jumped at the chance.
Currently I manage the loan processing and follow up side of the business so it is likely you will have a lot to do with me during the progress of your loan.
Outside of work, I spend time with my husband, Byron and our daughters Lily and Anastasia. I enjoy doing my bit for the environment, which includes making soap, beeswax wraps and other household cleaning products.
I have completed a degree in Applied Science and am currently studying my Diploma of Finance and Mortgage Broking Management
